Poured a dram from a bottle that's kept well, but it's a curious one. Very smoky, likely from ex-peater casks, with a gritty, acrid bite. Tastes of burnt rubber and herbs, like fireplace ashes. 🤔 Some good sides – a hint of apple juice – but overall dry and rather unpleasant. The medium finish leaves a curiously salty aftertaste, not quite indeed. Almost a taste of glass? Reminds me of old beer. 😕

Quite mellow, with a bit of honeyed sweetness and soft oak. I get some dried fruit, light spice, and a wee smoky edge at the end 😊 Nice cosy dram, easy to sip on a chilly evening.

Lovely wee dram 😊 Honeyed malt, orange peel and a bit of toasted oak. Feels warm, smooth-ish, with a gentle smoky tingle at the end. Quite cosy, easy to sip.

Oh, this whisky's got a real kick. Kinda smoky with a hint of fruit, like baked apples. 🍏 The taste is smooth, a bit creamy, and ends with a spicy warmth. 🌶️😊 Nose is sweet and a bit earthy – reminds me of autumn leaves. 🍂
