Just had a sip while watching the evening news. 🥃 It's got this lovely warmth, not harsh at all. I'm getting sweet honeys and beeswax right away, kind of like a walk past a hive in summer. Then some dried fruits and figs pop up, mixed with a little toffee. Interestingly, there's a savoury side too – reminds me of roasted parsnip and a touch of celeriac. 🌿 The finish is soft warm oak with a hint of citrus, maybe grapefruit or orange blossom. Not a very long aftertaste, but it's pleasant and gentle. Quite a delicate dram, really. 😊

Poured this on a warm summer evening and it shone full gold in the glass. The aroma reminded me straight away of oriental pastries with a hint of orange blossom – quite floral. Taking a sip, the dried fruits came through, like figs, and there was an earthy note of parsnip or root vegetables. The lower strength made it really smooth and easy to drink. Aftertaste lingered with honey and toffee, almost like orange blossom honey, with a grapefruit zest popping in. Really assertive flavour profile, but not overpowering. 😊

Had a whisky last night – poured it and was struck by the full gold color. 😊 First sip felt curiously gentle, almost soft on a summer evening. Flavors unfolded with dried pears, dried figs, and a tangy grapefruit note. There was a hint of oriental pastries and toffee sweetness, alongside something earthy like root vegetables – maybe parsnip. The aftertaste came, not too long, with a slight medicinally coastal edge. Lower strength made it a smooth, easy sip. Very good, honestly!

Warm and cosy dram 🥃 I get soft smoke, honey, a bit of dried fruit and oak. Feels smooth, with a wee peppery kick at the end. Quite nice for a slow evening.

sniffs glass 👃 Ooh that’s got a nice whiff of vanilla and maybe some dried fruit? Like a Christmas cake my nan makes. takes small sip 🥃 Mmm, quite smooth actually. Bit of toffee sweetness, maybe some orange peel? And a wee bit of spice at the end. swirls it in mouth Proper nice warmth going down. Not harsh at all. Leaves a sort of smoky, malty taste after, like a good bonfire smell lingers. takes another small sip Yeah, that’s lovely. Easy drinking, that. Could have a couple of these of a evening.
