Poured a dram that glows Light gold, first whiff of green fruit and a touch of honeysuckle, then a surprising whiff of carbolic and wood ash like a bonfire after rain. The palate feels high strength yet delicately waxy, with background waxiness and a hint of resins, maybe a bit of mead sweetness. White and black pepper kick in, followed by lots of mustard – almost like Banff mustard on a hot grill, Grilling sausages vibe, Sausages AND mustard. There's a lilies and pollen floral note, and the finish is Long and drying, subsides quite swiftly, leaving a Pure elegance that feels almost like a meal in itself. 🥃

Just had a dram that hit me tight at first, then burst into lots of mustard and mustard seed, a touch of medicine and germoline, like a whisper of carbolic soap. Light gold in the glass, with a background waxiness and more wax, almost like fruit salad laced with paraffin. Mineral flourish, wild flowers and lilies peek through, alongside a smoky note of coal hearths and wood ash. The finish is long and drying, spicy but subsides quite swiftly. Feels like grilling sausages with English mustard, a meal in itself, with a strange hint of mead. Unsurprisingly excellent 😊.
