Took a sip and was hit by these lovely oranges and sherry right off the bat – proper fruity, like biting into a sun-ripened orange 🍊, but with that marmalade tang. There's a heavy oakiness in there, almost sooty, but it's balanced by sweet walnuts and caramel. The finish is something else – long, warm, with ginger and figs lingering. Not boring at all, bit of a rollercoaster, really. Earthiness and roots sneak in later, like walking through a damp forest after rain. The herbal notes and genepy give it that intriguing edge, not quite what you'd expect from a "regular" orange. Sultanas and dried mangos add a tropical twist, while pepper and aniseed keep things lively. Every sip seems to improve over time, revealing more layers. The nicest part? That very nice finish – smooth, satisfying. Gold in color, but the magic's in the glass. 🥃✨

Poured myself a dram tonight, lovely gold colour in the glass. First thing I got was these dried mangos and sweet walnuts, almost tropical vibes going on - not what I expected at all. There's a touch of rawness to it, like something slightly unfinished, but in a good way? Then it got a bit wild honestly - bit of wormwood and genepy creeping in, almost herbal. The bitter orange marmalade note really hit me though, proper intriguing. Definitely unclassic, not your regular whisky experience 😅 Actually smoother than I thought it'd be mid-palate. Lovely oranges popping through, some figs too, maybe even a hint of sherry sweetness. Little bit of pepper and soot in the background giving it depth. Oh and the finish - loved the finish! Very nice finish actually, long and warming. Those orange drops just linger forever. Caught something like rubber bands oddly enough, but in a weirdly charming way? And the roots and fruitier notes come back at the end. Honestly not boring at all, bit of a rollercoaster tbh. Bitter edge keeps it interesting rather than cloying. Went through the glass faster than I meant to 🥃 Really enjoyed this one for something different on a Tuesday night

Oof, that dram's got a real taist on it. Furst hit’s lyke 🥃... sweet, lyke dried fruut an a bitt o’ honey. Then comes the smoke, mate. Nuffin’ too heavy, just lyke a distant bonfire on a chilly nite. 🌙 Keeps it all grounded, ya kno? Goes down smooth, warms ye up proper from the inside. Leaves a loveli, spicie sorta linger. 😊 Jus’ a good, honest glass, that’s wot it is.

Right, this one's got a proper smoky nose, kinda like a bonfire on a beach. 🌊🔥 Tastes of warm spices and a bit of honeyed sweetness, real smooth going down. 😌 Finish is long and comforting, like a hug in a glass. 🥃 Feel it in teh bones, innit?
