Right, this dram hits you with a very sweet start – think candy sugar and tinned pears, even a whiff of fresh paint and putty. It bites a bit at first, like crunching a sugar cube, then eases into something smoother. You get almonds and straw, a bit of grass and apple skins, almost like a fruit salad on a slice of cake. After a couple of sips it smooths out nicely, still a touch sugary but much more mellow. Proper tasty, though the finish is rather short 🥃🍐
