A legendary 'lost' Lowland distillery, also known as Linlithgow, that operated from 1798 until its closure in 1983. Renowned for producing exceptionally light, floral, and fruity single malt whisky with distinctive grassy notes. Its remaining stocks are among the most coveted and valuable collector's items in the whisky world, representing a vanished era of Lowland craftsmanship.

Blimey, this dram’s a right old mashup! First sip hits me with a zesty lemon punch, proper sharp, like squeezing a few lemons into your cuppa tea. Then there’s this herbal soup thing going on – parsley, tarragon, and a whiff of pastis that makes me think of a Michelin chef’s veggie concoction. The body’s lush, almost like white wine but with this incredible fatty salinity that coats the tongue, reminiscent of fish oil or rapeseed oil. Hold my horse, though – there’s a kerosene kick hiding in there, like a sneaky glue note that’s both odd and intriguing. The finish? Massive menthol hits like a Jamaican rum punch, leaving a trail of marvelous herbs and a ‘disappeared style’ that’s hard to pin down. It’s an Exceptional drop, no doubt, but flabbergasting in how it balances the weird and wonderful. Brilliant, really. Good boy, whoever crafted this – it’s like sipping a 1920s chartreuse with a green glass twist! 🥃✨

Hada dram this evening that smacked of kerosene and lemon zest, with a weirdly rich, almost glue‑like mouthfeel – incredible fatness and a fatty salinity that reminded me of fish oil. There’s a hint of vegetable soup prepared by a Michelin chef, plus a flash of 1920s chartreuse and grapefruit zest. Adding a splash of water opens it up even better than pastis or tea, letting the marrow‑inside warmth and a touch of parsley come through. Absolutely brilliant, adorable stuff.

Blimey, this one's a real character. First whiff is proper keroseney, but in a fascinating way, mixed with a hit of citrus - lemons and grapefruits, like cleaning a vintage car. The taste is... flabbergasting. It's got this incredible fatty salinity, almost like marrow inside, balanced with tarragon and parsley. A bit of fish oil and a little glue? Hold my horse, that's weird but works. Reminds me of a 1920s chartreuse bottle I once saw, or maybe a green glass for single malt. So focused and concentrated. It takes water better than pastis or tea, opens right up. Becomes a blend of white mezcal and Jamaican rum, with a vegetable soup prepared by a Michelin chef vibe. There's a style that's disappeared in most modern drams. Marvellous stuff. An exceptional drop, this. Fantastic and brilliant. Good boy. 👍

Blimey, tried this whisky – flabbergasting! Incredible fatness on the nose, like rapeseed oil with lemons and grapefruits, even a hint of white wine. Palate: massive menthol, then vegetable soup from a Michelin-starred chef with tarragon, parsley, various herbs. Keroseney profile but adorable, with fish oil, olives. Mouthfeel like marrow inside, incredible fatty salinity, almost gluey. Takes water better than pastis or tea – brilliant! Hold my horse, it's fantastic. Reminds me of a blend of white mezcal and Jamaican rum, 1920s chartreuse, a style that's disappeared. Very focused finish with pencil eraser, embrocations, a touch of Barbour grease. Exceptional drop, truly marvelous. Green glass for single malt suits it. Good boy! 😊

Crikey, that first sip is a proper wake-up call. Massive menthol right off the bat, like a good boy menthol cigarette but then it opens up into something else entirely. There's this lovely, sharp lemon and white wine character right at the front, really zingy and clean. But wait for it... there's a hidden marrow inside all that, a creamy, fatty texture. Picking up some serious green glass vibes, like an old bottle of pastis or even a 1920s chartreuse. Herbs are all over the place – tarragon, parsley, it's like a Michelin chef's vegetable soup in a glass. Brilliant. And then... whoosh. It gets all inky. Kerosene, a touch of glue, fish oil... that incredible fatty salinity hits you. Not in a bad way, mind. It's flabbergasting. Reminds me of that extraordinary St. Magdalene style that just... well, disappeared. Finish is all grapefruits, olives, and a ghost of Jamaican rum. Fantastic. An exceptional drop that really holds my horse. Just... wow. 🤯
