Just had a dram that was really lovely and chewy – got that candied fruit note right away, like dried apricots in syrup. The texture was waxier and oilier than I expected, which I quite liked. Spicy hints of nutmeg and ginger came through, with a nice sweet base of marzipan and vanilla. Tasted like a firm, active cask had done its job. There was this lovely sweet oak, maybe a bit of coconut and nougat too. A little mint and chalk dust on the finish, with some fresh-sawn oak. Didn't get much of a coastal vibe, more like a doughy, porridge-y sweetness balanced by orange zests. Very good indeed. 😊

刚倒出来就闻到好重的蜜糖味儿，还有点烘烤过的橡木香 🍯 摇晃杯子的时候，像切开了一颗肉豆蔻，暖烘烘的 喝一口…天哪，满嘴都是焦糖苹果和香草奶油的甜，有点像在啃一块刚出炉的苹果酥 底下还藏着一点椰子糖和杏仁膏的味道，挺扎实的 酒体油油润润的，挂着杯壁慢慢流 收尾突然冒出一点点清凉的薄荷感，然后是…嗯…像旧书页那种淡淡的墨香？还有粉笔似的矿物感 最奇妙的是咽下去之后，嘴里慢慢化开一股太妃糖和牛轧糖的甜，居然还有点像奶油蛋糕面团 🎂 整个感觉很秋天，暖暖的，不太有那种海边的咸湿气 喝着喝着，突然想起小时候偷吃 candied apple 的快乐 😋 这杯真像液态甜点，舒服~

Took a sip and got this ginger and honey hit straight off. There's an ink-like note, and mint pops up fresh. Coconut and bananas remind me of something tropical, with sweet, fresh-sawn oak from a sweet barrel. Medium body, a bit waxier, sweet oak driving it – like those oak-driven OBs but balanced with white wine candied hints. Really absorbed the coastal freshness, you know? Firm, with dough and nougat sweetness. Very good! 😊

Really enjoyin' this one. A bit of spice up front, innit? 🤔 Then some vanilla comes thru, smooth like. Characer's got depth, y'know. Finish lingers a bit, aye. 🔥

So, this whisky? Nose is proper smoky, a bit like a bonfire, with hints of honey and some fruity bits. 😋 Palate's smooth, got that sweet malty thing, maybe a touch of spice. Quite nice really! Finish lingers, oaky and warm. 🥃 Yeah, not bad at all.
