Had a wee dram this evening, loads of yeast and green apples up front, then a hint of porridge and hay with a breezy plain grass note. The oak-doping gives it a brutal, spirity kick, but there's a more natural fig spirit and a whisper of limoncello underneath. Love that! 😄

Oh wow, this one's a real character! First sniff is like walking past a farm – hay and that earthy, almost cow dung note, but then it gets super interesting. Love that! 🌿 It's so distillate-driven, really talking to you. Loads of green apples and gooseberries, a bit of pear, then a huge hit of rhubarb and lemongrass. The herbal side is massive. It feels more natural, not botoxed or oaky-doped at all. Taste-wise, it's medium bodied but quite spirity. There's this sourdough, leaven bread yeastiness, and extremely barley-y. Reminds me of some bold Cadenhead whiskies or even a trucker's whisky – brutal and honest. A hint of kirsch and fig spirit comes through, with a plain grass finish. It's gentler than it smells, but still packs a punch. Not quite a nosing whisky for me, more of a thinking dram. Fascinating stuff! 😄
