honestly this stuff is just chef’s kiss 🥃 first off the smoke’s super gentle, not that harsh medicinal kind at all, even has a little mezcal-esque smoky kick without the burn, mixes right in with a dash of salt and that briny coastal vibe like standing on a pebbly shore. Then you get that zesty smoked lemon juice kick, followed by all sorts of active fruits – tangerines, that fresh cane juice sweetness, a hint of vanilla and brioche roundness too. It’s so balanced, firm but not sharp, the flavours all line up perfect, even has that weirdly good ink and mint finish. Tastes way more mature than you’d expect, such a rounded, accurate pour, absolutely wonderful, exactly that lovely aged vibe you hope for in a good dram.

phew! 🥃 这桶强劲儿得离谱，too strong 啊简直，第一口 smoky 泥煤混着 medicinal 的药味直冲天灵盖，还有点 salty 的海盐咸，咽下去之后慢慢泛出 citrusy 的柑橘甜，还有 cherry stem tea 的淡香气，尾韵长得要死，最后居然还带点 tarry 的柏油感，还有点 mercurochrome 的碘感？ 经典中年份泥煤款真的 really hard to beat 啊。
