I was suddenly hit with a huge wave of briny seawater and a splash of lemon Jell‑O that felt oddly sweet yet sharp. Then a big, oily, almost bestial splash of smoked sunflower oil. It’s aggressive, high‑alcohol, almost like a brutal, long‑simmering Bordeaux, but with a hint of shy oak and a crisp Sauvignon vibe. The smokiness is a bit too much for my taste, yet the whole thing has a long, lingering finish that makes you think of a Pessac‑style wine… but all in a very odd, almost oily feeling. Cheers 😜

This one’s got a proper punch – strong and big, with an oily richness that clings to the tongue. First sip hits like seawater mixed with smoke, but it’s not just brutal. There’s something antiseptic about it, almost medicinal, yet weirdly moreish. The finish is long, that oily feeling lingering like I’m quaffing smoked sunflower oil 😂. Not overly fruity, more like a shy oak whisper, but then it turns aggressive and bestial outta nowhere. Reminds me of a crisper sauvignon blanc from the Loire, but with this Huge, petrol-like depth. The peat’s there, sure, but it’s balanced – not a fireball, just a steady burn. Finishes a bit like lemon Jell-O and straw, which is oddly refreshing. Proper powa! 🥃

Alright so this one's proper oily, like quaffing smoked sunflower oil oily 💀 Hits you with that seawater straight away, really aggressive on the nose. High alcohol, no doubt about it — powa! But somehow it's neither brutal nor overly smoky which surprised me tbh. Got this weird lemon Jell-O thing going on, mixed with straw. Reminds me of a good sauvignon blanc from the Loire but oilier, if that makes sense? Like a Pessac-style white but less fruity and way more intense. Huge finish, really long. Definitely one to sip slow on a cold evening 🥃

bloody hell, that smoke hits like a punch to the face but in the best way—like licking a campfire after a storm. 🔥 then it mellows into this oily, almost greasy feeling that coats your tongue like you’ve been chewing on smoked sunflower seeds. not unpleasant, just... intense. the seawater tang sneaks in after, like standing on a pebble beach with the tide pulling at your boots. then—pow!—lemon Jell-O wobble right in the middle, all citrusy and sharp. the oak’s shy, barely there, like it’s hiding behind the straw-yellow colour. not brutal, not overpowering, just... long. proper long. like a good argument that never really ends. and the white Bordeaux? crisp as a fresh baguette, way sharper than you’d expect. almost Loire-like in its cheekiness, but with that Pessac-style weight holding it down. good stuff. proper good.

The body's huge, proper strong, high alcohol that warms the chest. Pessac-style influence maybe? Reminds me of a good Bordeaux, that elegant aggression without going overboard. Long finish, lingers like a memory. Less fruity than I expected, more mineral and medicinal – antiseptic edge but not unpleasant. Smoke curls through, not overwhelming. Could chug this like Chevalier, easy going despite its power. Great stuff, powa! in a glass.
