Oof, that’s a beast! 💥 First sip hits like a punch—high alcohol warming right up the nose, smoke curling in like a bonfire on a windy beach. Not just a little whiff, nah, it’s got that proper antiseptic tang too, sharp enough to make you blink. Then comes the oil—proper slick, coats the tongue like you’ve dunked it in a vat of smoked sunflower oil. Not sweet at all, more like licking a tarred rope left out in the rain. The oak’s shy, just a whisper behind all that aggression, but it’s there, holding the whole thing together like a stubborn scaffolding. Long finish, too. Lingers like a bad memory, all seawater and petrol fumes clinging to the back of your throat. Tastes more Loire than Bordeaux somehow—less fruit, more raw, almost brutal. Still, bloody powerful stuff. Powa indeed.
