Kentucky Owl Bourbon Whisky

Kentucky Owl is an American whiskey brand founded in 1879 by Charles Mortimer Dedman. However, in 1916, on the eve of Prohibition, production was forced to cease due to local government alcohol prohibition. All the original whiskey intended for Kentucky Owl was seized by the government and stored in bonded warehouses. Unfortunately, the warehouse storing the original whiskey caught fire, destroying everything, and Kentucky Owl was lost to history. In 2014, founder's great-great-grandson Dixon Dedman and business partners revived Kentucky Owl. Since then, they have released seven award-winning bourbon expressions. To build on this success, Kentucky Owl now introduces this rye whiskey, a perfect complement to their barrel-proof bourbon. The rye spent 11 years in barrels before being blended and bottled at 110.6 proof. Kentucky Owl continuously seeks more possibilities and innovations in American whiskey flavor profiles. With rich, quality bourbon barrel resources and John Rhea's 40 years of experience in American whiskey, the brand explores collaborations with Master Blenders from different countries, regions, and styles, bringing their understanding of local whiskey flavors into American whiskey. Currently, Kentucky Owl @ International Collaboration Limited Edition has launched its third edition by 2023, collaborating with Master Blenders from Ireland, Japan, and Scotland. All batches are released only once as limited editions. About Maureen Robinson: Maureen Robinson is one of Scotland's finest and most experienced Master Blenders.
