Whiskyspace Notes 1437

Honestly, this one's a bit of an oak bomb. I'm getting caraway bread straight off, with bags and bags of cinnamon. There's pencil shavings in there, and the oak just keeps coming, more and more oak gets in the way. It's like over-infused tea, really very oaky. Texture is gritty, medium. Feels like typical oak juice with bitter cocoa notes. The spicy bred sprinkled with custard is interesting, but frankly over-oaked. A hint of maple syrup tries to sweeten it, but the oak wins. Not my favorite, but drinkable. 🤷♂️
