Honestly, bruv, this glass is all oak and barely any spirit. 😞 Like sucking on a damp plank from B&Q. The colour’s a lovely gold, but that’s about it. Sip it and it’s just... horrid, dry and drying, with this weird sour wood note at the back. Way too oaky for my taste, mate. Feels like there’s no proper whisky base underneath. It’s so shy and thin, all you get is that stewed pineapple note fighting a losing battle against the wood. Not for me. It’s a bit of a nightmare, honestly. Give me something softer with some actual woods and nuts in balance any day. I’m definitely not some ‘discerning bourbon aficionado’ who loves this much wood. A Saturday afternoon assembling flatpack furniture would be more fun. 😩

Warm and mellow, with a bit of honey, oak and soft spice. Gets a touch fruity after a sip — quite cosy, honestly 🥃 Finish feels gentle, slightly smoky and a wee bit dry.

Lovely cosy dram 🥃 I get soft wood, a bit of honey, light spice and a warm, smoky finish. Feels easy-going, comfy, and just right for a quiet evening.

Blimey, first sniff is like a bonfire on a pebbly beach—proper smoky 🔥🌊. Then there’s a sweet, sticky date thing goin on, almost treacle, with a whiff of old leather. On the palate… oof, it’s warm. Honeyed at first 🍯, then a big whack of spice—cinnamon, maybe a bit of clove—dries the mooth right up. That peaty backbone sits there all cosy, not too aggressive. Finish hangs about for ages, a bit salty, a whisper of dark choccy 🍫 and a final puff of chimney smoke. Cracking dram, that. Makes ye feel like you’re sittin in a highland bothy.

Warm and a bit smoky, with a soft sweet edge. Feels cosy, like a quiet night in by the fire 🥃 Bit of oak, dried fruit, and a wee peppery kick at the end. Nice and easy-going.
