Had a dram today that threw bourbony bananas at me, quite striking. A little rum seemed to have added even more of those welcome bananas and papayas, and ripe kiwis are dazzling here. There's a hint of pears, vanilla, and a superlative fresh‑fruit‑salad effect. Feels like scones with classic and classy brioches on the side, plus more oranges and a touch of late harvest riesling vibe. Very fruity, like a kiwi‑filled fruit bowl. Some older malts are a little bit like this. 🥃🍌🍊

Blimey, this is proper lush! Like a posh fruit salad in a glass—pears, kiwi, even a whiff of yuzu. That honey coating’s just divine, and the bananas? Almost bourbony, like they’ve been napping in a rum cask. Vanilla and pineapple pop up too, with a hint of straw and warm scones. Feels like floating, this one. 🍯🍌

Blimey, this one's flying very high! 🤩 First sip and it's just a superlative fresh-fruit-salad effect – all ripe kiwis, papayas, and a burst of pineapple. Seriously, very fruity. Then it gets richer, like it's been coated with honey, with a lovely hint of late harvest riesling sweetness. Get some classic, classy biscuits and a touch of straw in there too. Definitely has a bourbony bananas vibe, and those more oranges notes come through beautifully. So drinkable, almost like a dessert. Really quite striking stuff. 👍

It’s like nibbling on kougelhopf or scones, even biscuits, with classic and classy brioches in the background. Loads of papayas, pineapples, pears – ripe kiwis are dazzling here, making it very fruity. There’s vanilla too, and it reminds me a bit of some older malts, though more vibrant. Maybe the rum added even more of those welcome bananas and papayas. Medium feel, with a touch of straw. 🍌🍍🍐

Right, so I just had a dram and it's quite fruity right off the bat 🍐🍊. Lots of pears and oranges, with some tropical notes like papayas and pineapples. It's got this sweet honey coating and vanilla, almost like a dessert wine – reminds me of a late harvest riesling. There's a classic brioche and biscuit thing going on, with a touch of rum and bourbonny bananas. The finish is superlative, like a fresh fruit salad with a bit of yuzu. It feels somewhat Irish, similar to some older malts I've tried before. Quite striking and lovely! 😋
