Just had a sip and it's a lovely pale gold in the glass. The nose hits with rolled oats and chalk, a bit of mint wafting through. Tasting it, there's a good, robust feel – green grassy notes and a hint of green pepper, earthy with a slightly bitter edge that reminds me of orange bitters. I get this fermenting vibe, like wet hay and straw, and a dry earthiness underneath. There's a prickle of peppercorns and something like butterscotch sweetness, with a goat's cheesy aspect adding character. The finish has good length, leaving notes of lemon rind and sunflower oil, cooling wort aftertaste. It's a slightly boisterous youngster, but not unpleasant – just good clean fun! 🥃
