Whiskyspace Notes 2122

It’s surprisingly smooth, no engine oil vibes at all, just a gentle barleyish feel with no very porridgy notes. The colour looks like gold in the glass, and I get soft notes of ripe apples and a hint of vanilla cake, creamy but medium‑bodied. There’s a whisper of roasted seeds and some barley, a citrusy aftertaste that feels like after the rain, plus a touch of sesame and sunflower oil warmth. Finishes with a blond Virginia tobacco edge, powerful yet very approachable – pleases me enough, though maybe not a malt whisky we’ll remember forever. 😊
