Had a dram tonight that reminded me of white wine and a bit of peach jelly, with a hint of mint and a touch of grass. The colour looked a shade darker than usual, and there was a little more oak in the aftertaste. Feels slightly rounder, maybe a wee bit fruitier, and overall pretty terrific. 😊

Wow, this one’s a gem 💎. First sip and I get this lovely flinty note, really clean. It’s more or less excellent, feels very much the same high quality as some others I’ve tried. It’s a slightly rounder version, with more fruit jelly, like pear, coming through. Almost has that wee whiff of vanilla and a touch of oak sawdust in the finish. The aftertaste has just a little more oak to it. Makes me think of a naked young Cragganmore, maybe a tiny-wee tad rounder. There’s a little mint and grassiness in the background, but it’s terrific overall. A proper proof that the spirit is top-notch. 👍

The colour's that familiar golden honey - you know the 1997s always had. Nosing it, got that same grassy freshness, like walking through a damp field in the morning. And there's definitely some flinty, mineral thing going on, reminds me of wet stones after rain. A wee whiff of vanilla sneaks in too, which is nice. First sip, it's got that very same high quality feel on the tongue. Definitely a little fruitier than I remember, more fruit jelly sweetness - hints of peaches, maybe? Then it gets a bit of that oak sawdust note coming through. Not in a bad way. The aftertaste is where it's at. It's got that Manager’s Choice signature, but just a little more oak in the aftertaste this time. Lingers with a little mint cooling effect. Quite pleasant, really. Just spilling hairs now, swirling it around, it's just... the same, you know? A solid dram. 👍

Taking a sip, I get this lovely pear note right away, with some flints and a hint of mint. It's more or less the same whisky as the NC2, but I think it's a tiny-wee tad rounder. On the nose, there are wee whiffs of vanilla and oak sawdust. The aftertaste has just a little more oak, which is nice. Honestly, it's terrific! I'm spilling hairs now trying to pin it down, but it's more or less excellent overall. 😊

Wow, this whisky is really terrific! 🥃 It's got that same high quality I always look for. Close to what I've had before, with more fruit jelly sweetness coming through. It's more or less the same profile, but slightly rounder, a tiny-wee tad rounder even. There's a little mint and white wine notes mixed in. The colour is marginally darker, which is nice. Oak sawdust on the finish, and it feels like proof that the distillate is top-notch. More or less excellent! 😊
