Tonight I poured a glass of whisky, and first off, the youth feels a bit vibrant but it's definitely top distillate. On the nose, I get pears and lemons with hints of herbs, plus some orange drops sweetness. No peat, which I like. The texture is soft oil, kind of like sunflower oil, really smooth. It reminds me of brioche, autumn leaves, and a bit of barks earthiness. There are cider apples in there too, and it's a tad grassier than usual. Easy acacia honey comes through, making it pretty delicate and high quality. I notice custard and lemon-scented candle wax notes, with a medium body that has a white wine crispness. Overall, a nice sip 😊

First impression: quite floral and fruity upfront 🌸 The nose has this lovely mix of white cherries and greengages, almost like a sunny orchard. There's a grassiness there too, and some herbs, maybe a bit of lemon-scented candle wax in the background. On the palate, it's pretty easy drinking. I get these refreshing notes of green gooseberries and cider apples, very much in a white wine style. Definitely no smoke or peat here. The youth feels more in an unpeated whisky than in a peater, if that makes sense. Body is medium, and towards the end there's a gentle sweetness coming through – reminds me of brioche, a touch of custard, and some easy acacia honey. Pears and lemons keep it crisp. Overall, it's very good, just a little simple. A pleasant autumn leaves kind of dram for a relaxed evening. 🍂

Warm and a bit spicy at first, then soft honey, oak and dried fruit come through 🥃 Feels cosy, slightly peppery, with a nice mellow finish. Quite easy to sip, tbh.

Well, this one's got a nice sweetness to it, like honey 🍯. Then there's a bit of spice that kicks in 🌶️, and it finishes with a smoky sort of vibe 🔥. Quite smooth on the tongue, y'know? Really enjoy it.

Right, so, got this one... 🥃 First off, the nose is proper smoky, like a damp campfire on a beach. A bit of 🔥 and some old wood. Takes a bit to open up. Then you get this sweet thing, kinda like 🍯 honey on toast, and a bit of 🌶️ spice at the back. The mouthfeel is smooth, but not too heavy. Gets a bit of fruit, maybe some 🍊 orange peel or somethin'. The finish is where it lingers, you know? Warm, woody, and that smoke comes back round. It's a decent dram, a bit of a slow burner. Quite enjoyabel realy. 🌲
