Nosing this, I get earthy peat and green oak, quite shy to start. 😊 The taste is light and mineral, with squeezed oranges and bitter almonds—there's a nuttiness from almonds and bitter walnuts. Nutmeg from the oak adds a medium spice, and I find grassy notes, like straw and a touch of green tea. Finish has honey and apple compote, slightly salty. It's round and luscious, though not greatly great; more of a goody good whisky with greenness and fruitier sherriness. I sense papers or tarte tatin influences, and it's refill cask, so leathery and grassier overall.

Lovely warm dram 🥃 Bit of honey, dried fruit and spice, with a gentle smoky edge. Feels cosy, smooth-ish, and nicely warming on a chilly evening. Bit oaky at the end, but in a good way.

Feels warm and cosy straight away — a bit of honey, orange peel, gentle spice and soft oak. Nice wee tingle, quite mellow, with a dry smoky finish. Proper evening dram vibes 🥃

Oh blimey, this whisky's got a proper smokey kick, innit? 👃 Tastes like a mix of vanilla and a bit of honey, with some spicy notes on the tongue. 🥃 Finish is warm and lingers nicely, maybe a hint of apple or nutty goodness. 🍏 Goes down smooth, really enjoyed that one! 👍 There's a touch of licorice too, makes it interesting. 😊

Blimey, first sip and it's proper smoky 🔥... then some sweet honey notes come through, almost like a citrusy zing 🍋. Got a bit of spice at the end, maybe some vanilla? Really smooth tho, nice finish 😊. Would deffo have it again, maybe with a tiny drop of water to open it up a bit. Cheers! 🥃
