Gold colour, kinda soft and classic malty profile. 🌿 First thing I got was pastries – croissants and fresh baguette, with a touch of vanilla and a bit of rosewater. There’s a gentle oaky note, like new wood, and then these herbal bits, verbena and chamomile, mixed with some linden tea. Let it sit and more comes through. Crushed bananas, overripe apples, oranges… a bit like a fruit basket. Surprisingly, there’s this faint horse stable note, but it’s distant, just a whisper, not off-putting. Some pistachio nougat and custard sweetness pop in too. Finish is medium, pretty clean with more barley and a hint of that fresh oak again. A pretty nice drop, not the most thrilling, but very drinkable and comforting. Perfect for a quiet evening. 😊
