Blimey, this dram’s all over the place but so bloody lovely innit? 🥃 Full gold in the glass, smells like someone’s spiked orange and caramel liqueurs with bitter orange and sweet chilli sauce at first sniff, weirdly enough. Cask does all the talking here, proper wild mix – got that unusual but very pleasant fruitiness like lychee and longan, plus a bit of walnut liqueur, honeydew sweetness and even a faint rubbery whiff like cheap Auchroisks I had last year, plus that speculoos spice kick. Herbs in the aftertaste, little earthy kick, even a hint of apple peelings, good sherry cask nuttiness and a faint gentian eau-de-vie bitter zing at the very end. Jury’s still out if I’d buy a whole bottle, but it’s such a bizarre dram the unusualness makes it worth trying for sure, proper fun pour for a lazy Sunday afternoon.

This dram’s a proper golden pour, deep and warm like a fireside blanket. There’s something earthy here, roots and soil, maybe a hint of walnut liqueur and gentian eau-de-vie that gives it a bitter edge. The sherry cask influence is strong – sweet and nutty, with a touch of speculoos and orange caramel liqueurs dancing on the tongue. But then it gets weird: litchis, longans, even a bit of sweet chilli sauce? Not your usual whisky vibes, but in a way that keeps you curious. Herbs linger in the aftertaste, coriander and something wild, while the finish has this soot-and-wax-polish smokiness. It’s bizarre, rough around the edges, and not a racing whisky by any means – long, more complex than I expected. The jury’s still out, but that unusualness makes it worth trying. Definitely a head-scratcher 🥃

Right then, this one’s a proper oddball. Starts off sweet—litchis and longans, like a fancy fruit salad in a glass—but then it gets all rough around the edges, earthy and a bit smoky, like someone’s burnt some apple peelings in a sherry cask. There’s this weird sweet chilli sauce thing going on mid-palate, and I swear I’m getting notes of orange and caramel liqueurs, but not in a smooth way. The cask is definitely doing all the talking here, and it’s not exactly subtle. Finish is bizarre—think soot and wax polish mixed with rubbery Auchroisks, which sounds mad but kinda works? Not a racing whisky by any stretch, more a contemplative dram that splits opinions. The jury’s still out on whether I love it or just respect its weirdness, but it’s worth a try if you’re into peculiar character. 🥃

Right so this one's a proper oddity at first. Got that odd gentle fruitiness litchis with honey melon notes, plus a kind of unusual speculoos biscuity sweetness which I wasn't expecting at all. There's a clear sherry cask underneath but it's doing all the tasting honestly wood and spice seem to just carry everything. Its very rouph in a weirdly charming way not smooth or sippable in the usual sense more like a bit of walnut liqueur mixed with orange caramel liqueur almost Baileys texture but way more interesting. That rubbery Aucheroside style smoke kicks in mid palate along with earth roots and soot wax polish notes which sounds mental but somehow works. The result is long though far more comples than you'd initialy think herbs in the aftertaste linger forever with gentian eau de vie bitterness and bitter orange peel. Definitely not a racey dram its slow and heavy and a bit bizarre realy. The verdicts still out but the wierdness makes it worth trying for sure

There’s this weird roughness to it, almost like chewing on apple peel, but then it smooths out into something earthy, roots and all. Bit of soot and wax polish in the background, like an old library. Finishes long and complex, with herbs lingering and a hint of that sweet chilli sauce warmth. Not your usual sipper, but bloody interesting. 🥃
