Just had a dram of this whisky and it's surprisingly deep for its age. Not your usual sweet and luscious sherry bomb – that's for sure. First thing I notice is dark chocolate and bitter oranges, with a heavy honey sweetness underneath. There's a herbal edge, almost flinty and saltier, like salted chocolate. Reminds me of ginger cookies fresh out the oven, maybe some sweet and spicy cakes too. The finish is leathery, with a hint of walnutty sherry. I don't get packs of matches, but after a bit, I swear I smell lit cigars. Oh, and there's this earthy note, kinda like turnips, but it adds to the complexity. Really interesting stuff – makes you think. 😊

Just tried this whisky – the nose is full of smoky peat 🥃 with a whiff of honey. Palate-wise, it's got a nice kick of spice and vanilla, maybe a bit of oak. Finish is long and warming, perfect for a chilly night! 😊 Really realyl enjoying it. Cheers!

First sip, oh wow, that ginger kick is proper nice! 👌 Then comes this smooth vanilla sweetness, like a warm hug. The smokiness is there, but not overpowering—more like a gentle woodfire aroma. I'm getting some fruity notes too, maybe apple or somethin'. And that oakiness in the finish, just lovely. Really makes you savour it. 😊 Yeah, it's a good 'un.

Aright, so this one's got a right proper nose on it! 🍎🍐 Get loads of ripe orchard fruit, like apples and pears, followed by a creamy vanilla custard hit. Maybe a touch of honey? To the tounge it's sooth, like. 👅 Rich but not heavy. Starts wiv that sweet fruit and honey, then some gentle spice like cinnamon or nutmeg comes through. A bit o' woody oakiness right at the back. The finish has a nice, warm glow to it. 🔥 Not too complex, but very quaffable. Would go down a treat on a chilly evening. 🎉
