Blimey, this is a big old dram. Deep amber, rich leathery sherry straight away, then black tea, salted liquorice and loads of peppery heat. It gets quite savoury too, like spicy ramen broth, bouillon, Maggi and a bit of mushroom powder. There’s a dry earthy side, some blood orange, leather, a touch of cardboard, and that menthol resin thing hanging about. Powerful stuff, maybe a bit drying and fierce for me, but there are plenty of lovely bits in there 🥃
