Ah right, so this one’s proper interesting. First thing I got was this damp wool, almost like a cozy sweater by the fire, then a whiff of the shoreline, like wet sand when the tide’s out. ☕️ There’s a touch of coffee in the background, but it’s more like the aroma from a fresh loaf of sourdough, or even that raw barley spirit note – very clean. The nose is briny, sharp, almost like a bone dry white wine, chenin blanc maybe. Less smoke than I expected, more of that chalky, mineral thing that builds and builds, like lemon juice over flour. It’s got this brilliant, long finish that just… lingers. Love it. Mi piacere a lot, ich liebe es, j’aime ça. It really shakes your spine in the best way.
