Went down a dram and was hit straight away by a bright orange‑marmalade note, like a slice of toast with jam. The malt’s there, warm and a bit doughy, but it quickly opens up to ripe cherries and a touch of sweet mushrooms – oddly comforting, almost like an old wine cellar on a rainy day. There's a hint of chocolate and a whisper of tobacco that sits nicely with the potpourri of spices, and just when you think it’s done, a gentle pepper crackles in the after‑taste. The violet flowers are there too, crystallised and sweet, giving the whole thing a proper good complexity without being over‑the‑top. Feels rather medium, but the blend keeps it interesting till the last sip 😊.

Right, had a dram of this last night. The maltiness is really nice, with chocolate and marmalade up front. Oranges and potpourri blend together, and I'm thinking of tobacco and ripe fruits – cherries and raisins. Dough and breads add to the complexity. A touch of violet sweet and pepper in the aftertaste. It's a blend, but rather medium in body. Reminds me of an old wine cellar, with gold colour and crystallised violet flowers. Cakes and all. Lovely stuff! 😊

今晚开了瓶金灿灿的威士忌，杯里晃着酒色就觉着有年头了。 第一口下去是熟透的樱桃酱和橙皮果脯的甜香，混着点老酒窖里木头柜子的气味。让我想起烤热了的葡萄干面包，还有那种软糖似的果子蛋糕。 嚼着嚼着，居然有股黑巧克力的丝滑感混着淡淡的烟草气，后劲里还跳出几粒胡椒粒在舌头上轻轻跳舞。整体复杂得像把果脯、香料、旧木头都塞进了一个柔软的布丁里，但又奇异地平衡。 收尾时喉头泛起一丝紫罗兰糖的甜，和晒过太阳的蘑菇鲜味。是那种值得慢慢喝、能琢磨出许多层次的酒，像在翻一本旧书页里夹着的干花。 🥃

Oh this is lovely - first sip hits you with that rich chocolate and cherry sweetness, almost like fruitcake fresh from the oven 🍫🍒 Then the nice maltiness comes through proper, with a little something like sweet mushrooms in the background... strange but nice. Colour's like liquid gold in the glass, and I'm getting marmalade and dough notes too - very comforting really. Finishes with that classic pepper tingle and liquorice, and those raisins stick around for ages 👌 Just a proper good single malt that... well, it gives you the same feelings every time - warm, satisfied, and already thinking about the next dram.

第一口下去，哎呀，那股丰腴感，活脱脱就是个圣诞水果蛋糕在嘴里化开嘛。🍒 深红色的熟樱桃和葡萄干的甜味特别明显。 细细品，感觉有点意思，像走进一个老酒窖，木头和陈年红酒的香气慢慢渗出来。后调里居然有一丝紫罗兰糖果的甜香，挺特别的。 尾韵里那点黑胡椒的辛辣感，还夹着甘草糖的味道，让整个回味变得复杂又有劲。整体不算太厚重，刚刚好。
