Had a dram the other day, and it’s proper smooth going down—easy like Sunday morning. The nose hits you first with this big fruit salad vibe, all preserved cherries and citrus bouncing around. It’s like biting into a handful of litchi and kiwis, but there’s something else lurking. Barley’s in there too, but it’s hiding behind the fruit, not sitting front and center. First sip’s creamy, almost porridgy, like stirring honey into your morning oats. Then the fruits come back stronger—orange and lemon zest dancing on the tongue, which I half expected. But here’s the odd bit: there’s a slight oily note, reminds me of lamp oil or sunflower oil, not unpleasant, just... there. The finish is medium, not too clingy, but those oranges stick around longer than they should. And just when you think it’s done, a whisper of milk chocolate and cake crumbs sneaks in. Light honey makes the whole thing feel sunny, even if the barley’s trying to resurrect itself from the shadows. Proper drinkable, mind you—just don’t overthink it. 😊

Got this pale gold dram in the glass, looks proper inviting actually. Nose is lovely – very fruity one, getting loads of litchis and some fresh orange pieces. There's a hint of preserved cherries hiding in there too. Doughy notes coming through, almost like walking past a bakery. 🍊 First sip and the barley really comes alive, sort of resurrects the barley character if you know what I mean. The kiwis and oranges dance around nicely. There's something oily about it, like sunflower oil on the tongue, maybe even a touch of lamp oil in the background which sounds odd but works. Milk chocolate creeps in as it develops. Rather more oils than expected, gives it a nice weight. Pretty easy to quaff honestly, the medium finish doesn't overstay its welcome. Just a solid fruity dram for a Friday evening. Good stuff. 👍

Pale gold in the glass, quite bright, and it’s got that waxy, slightly odd old white Bourgogne thing going on. I get a proper woodland stroll from it, damp mushrooms, pine sap, herbs, parsley and lovage, then a wee mentholy lift. There’s a cake-y bit too, like sticky oriental cakes, but it turns properly bitter in a nice grown-up way. Finish is spot on, honestly 😊

这杯颜色是pale gold，看着挺清爽的。 闻起来有点像切开的kiwis和oranges混在一起，还带点light honey的甜香。轻晃一下，sunflower oil那种油润感隐约飘出来。 第一口是doughy和porridgy的质感，像咬了口没完全烤透的sponge cake。但很快large fruit salad的味道就涌上来——preserved cherries、litchis，甚至有点milk chocolate的影子。 中段突然跳出鲜味，barley的谷物香混着fresh的矿物质感，literally在resurrects the barley。但水果味又不肯退场，和麦香玩起了hide and seek。 尾韵medium finish，milk chocolate变成了像lamp oil的微苦，接着oranges and lemons在喉咙深处刷了波存在感。overall是个very fruity one，口感rather more oils，但收得干净。Good的日常选择 👍

Pale gold colour, huh? First thing I noticed was this huge wave of fruit - honestly felt like sniffing a large fruit salad bowl. Then underneath, there's this lovely, fresh barley note coming through, sort of doughy and porridge-y. Taking a sip, wow, it's a very fruity one indeed. Expected oranges are there alright, with pieces of orange and preserved cherries popping up. But interestingly, the barley and fruits were playing hide and seek, sometimes one, sometimes the other. The texture's got rather more oils to it than I'd thought - getting a weird mix of sunflower oil and a hint of lamp oil, but in a nice, warming way. A bit of milk chocolate creeps in too. The finish is medium, I'd say. Left me thinking of light honey and a bit of fresh cake. Definitely brings the barley back to mind in the end. Quite enjoyable really. 👍
