Poured a dram of this tonight and it's got plenty of body. Honestly, for 43% it feels more like a 45%! 🥃 Really nice malty smokiness going on, and it's very well blended. I get some strong honey and a touch of pepper first, then it turns quite mashy - that warm porridge note gets more apparent after a minute. There's a wee bit musty edge to it, almost like pumpernickel and smoked ham, but then you get this lovely sweet custard, praline and even a bit of coffee. It leaves a slightly salty aftertaste with a bit of that expected marmalade. Cracking drop.
