Right, so I cracked this bottle open tonight. First whiff was a bit off, honestly. Like, not quite right. Maybe some old papers or damp wood? But then I took a sip and it’s actually... quite unusual. Really, the truth lies on the palate. Starts with this almost savoury thing – think Bovril or salty bouillons, maybe some puréed chestnuts. Then it turns quite dry, with a bittersweet, sour and bitter edge. Got a hint of thyme and pine needles, like a walk through the Highlands. It’s not very strong, very weak almost. Couldn’t add much power, but it’s medium, not totally bad indeed. After just thirty seconds, I’m imagining Game of Thrones dramas and old meats roasting by a fire. Calling for ice, maybe? The bottle’s very ugly, but the whisky’s better than the story. Tends to become very dry and a little spicy. Nice parsley note somewhere. Feels like it got off the beaten tracks – not very authentic, not very Diageo, if you know what I mean. Almost like a well-respected company tried something different, maybe added a conceited extra 1.7% of personality. It’s gold in the glass, and there’s juice in the bottle, alright. Makes me think of sex and violence and the lowest instincts. Not my usual, but I’ll finish it. 🥃

Just tried this one... not a knockout, honestly. First sip feels kinda thin, like it’s trying hard but missing the mark. Get this weird mix of savoury broth and dried herbs, almost like some Bovril stirred with a bit of thyme. The finish? Quickly gone, but leaves a ghost of cardboard and old paper—strange combo. Made me think of a botched spell from an old fantasy show, ha. Not undrinkable though; weirdly reminds me of that salty-sweet sauce you get at cheap takeaway places. Texture’s medium, but it’s begging for ice. Would I reach for it again? Maybe not... but hey, not totally awful. That juice has personality, I’ll give it that. 😅

Ah, this dram's got a proper smoky nose, like peat fires on a damp moor. 🔥🌿 First sip’s buttery smooth, very moreish. Then some swet honey notes creep in, lovely stuff. 🍯😋 A bit of spice at the end, not too overdone. Finishes long and warm. Top notch! 🥃🎉

Oh, this one's got a lovely smokey vibe, like a campfire on a crisp night. 😊 Hints of caramel and vanilla, very smooth going down. A bit of fruitiness too – maybe apples? Love the oaky finish. 🥃 Perfect for a quiet dram after work. Gets better with each sip! 👍 Sometimes I taste honey, makes it feel all warm and cozy. Quite peaty, which I adore. 💖 No harshness, just pure bliss. 👌

Smoky aroma hits ya first, a bit of honey sweetness too. Finish's warm, spicy. Quite lovely, really. 😊 Sometimes get a fruity hint, apples maybe? Not bad for a wee dram. Cheers!
