Blimey, that’s a proper big boy this one. Hits you with a wave of oak spice first—cinnamon and tobacco, like an old leather armchair by the fire. Then bam, rhubarb everywhere, fresh and cooked, tart as anything. There’s a whiff of wet gravel and moss after rain, earthy and a bit mushroomy. Oranges and tangerines pop in, but it’s not all sweet—marmalade bitterness and a drying tannin kick. Cocoa’s lurking too, dark and dusty. Finishes long, with that oak still going strong. A bit brutal, but in a good way. 🔥
