This one's a right summery dram – pale gold in the glass with a pretty floral nose that throws me back to a basket of ripe fruits. There's apples and greengages upfront, quite fruitier than your standard green tea, but not cloying. The mirabelles and pink gooseberries come through proper fresh and fruity, like a spoonful of mirabelle liqueur mixed with ripe butter pears. Less on the butterscotch here, more green tea and orange blossom dancing about. It's got this light molasses honey sweetness, a bit like bananas and vanilla extracts mingling. The finish is short to medium, still sweet but progresses back to something cleaner, almost like whiffs of assorted jellybeans and babies' powder. Proper drinkable, this – fresh, pleasant, fruity malt whisky without being a heavy beast. 🌿🍎

Justpoured a dram, colour pale gold, nice short/medium feel. First nose gives greengages and a hint of pink gooseberries, then a touch of banana and mirabelle liqueur ripe butter pears. There's a gentle green tea with milk vibe, orange blossom in the background, and it stays really very sweet but not too butterscotch. The finish brings vanilla in the aftertaste, leaving a basket of ripe fruits feeling still fresh and fruity. Clearly fruitier than I expected, lovely sip 🍐🍌🍵

There’s a vanilla in the aftertaste, not too heavy, and mirabelle liqueur ripe butter pears lingering softly. Less on butterscotch, more on fresh, pleasant, fruity malt whisky, with whiffs of assorted jellybeans and babies giving it a playful twist. The finish progressed back to green tea notes, sweet but not cloying, just lovely and easygoing 🍃✨

Hmm, this one's a proper treat. Poured a glass after tea and the first thing that hits you is this basket of ripe fruits – plums, mirabelles, apples all jostling for attention. Really very sweet but not cloying, more like light molasses honey drizzled over fresh fruit. There's a lovely green tea with milk thing going on underneath, almost like a wulong oolong, which keeps it from being too heavy. Very light on the palate, less on the butterscotch than I expected, and the recharred cask gives just a whisper of something deeper in the background without overwhelming the fruit. Still fresh and fruity as it progresses back, with these little pops of pink gooseberries and a floral lift that reminds me of orange blossom. Pretty floral overall, like a summer garden after rain 🌸 Short to medium finish but it lingers pleasantly. One of those drams that makes you close your eyes and just smile. Would happily have another glass with the missus while watching telly. Lovely stuff.

Right, took a sip of this one. First thing, got a lovely sweet hit, like honey and maybe some dried fruit? Quite warming, that. 🍯 Then there's a bit of a spicy kick, kinda peppery. It's got a nice full mouthfeel, not too thin. Finishes with a bit of smoke, I reckon. Not harsh smoke, more like a distant bonfire on a nite out. Leaves a pleasant warmth, ya know? A real solid drink, tha. 🥃
