Right, this one’s proper different—like a tropical holiday in a glass 🌴 Mango juice sloshing about, passion fruit fizzing, almost all vitamin C, you know? Then a twist—gentian, earthy roots, a hint of Bowmore smoke underneath… heady stuff 😳 Wine freaks’d love it, really. Splendid. Medium body, but wow—full-on tropicalness, dead-on. Scandalously unknown, if you ask me. 🥂

This dram hits you with a heady burst of tropical fruits—like passion fruit, mango, and blood orange juices all mashed together. It’s stupendously fruity, almost like sipping a vitamin-packed fruit juice, but with a proper kick. There’s a splendid sharpness from the clementines and maracuja upfront, then this weirdly earthy note sneaks in, like bamboo shoots or something out of a vegetable patch. It’s clearly different from your usual whiskies, more like a crossover with white wine freaks would appreciate. The body’s medium, but the finish lingers with this full-on tropicalness, sweet and tangy. Reminds me of those old Bushmills nights, but with a twist—maybe some gentian or roots tucked in there? Weirdly brilliant, in a “what even is this?” way. 🍊🍍

This dram’s got a proper tropical punch straight away – mango and maracuja dancing about, proper stupendously fruity. Clementine zest shines through, too, bright and fresh, while bananas linger like a cheeky dessert note. Splendid mix of sweet and subtle earthy vegetables and roots, almost bamboo shoots-like in their freshness. The finish’s quick, clean, but leaves this warm, more ‘tropical’ haze that reminds me of sun-drenched vineyards. Petit manseng vibes, maybe? Whatever it is, it’s clearly different – not your usual whisky affair. Gets a bit too heady after a while, though, like overripe peach juice gone wild. Still, the balance with that gentle tartness from blood oranges keeps it honest. Reminds me of sippin’ something scandalously unknown but utterly brilliant. Jurançon-like depth, but with a Juicy Fruit twist – mad, really. 🍊

Blimey, this one's a tropical fruit bomb straight away 🍹. Like someone squeezed a whole heap of ripe mango and passion fruit right into the glass. It’s that kind of stupendously fruity, almost all-vitamin fruit juice vibe, dead-on tropicalness. Made me think of those sunny, heady whites from Jurançon – all that Petit Manseng character with clementines and maracuja just dancing around. There’s a lovely depth to it too, like the roots of something old and splendid, totally superb. It’s that scandalously unknown sort of taste you sometimes stumble upon, packed with blood orange juices and sunshine. Reminds me a bit of an old Bushmills I had once, but even more fruity and lush. Really quite the experience on a lazy afternoon. 🌞

Warm and easy-going dram 🥃 Bit of honey, vanilla and soft oak, with a wee spicy kick. Feels cosy rather than flashy — nice for a slow evening, especially when it’s chucking it down outside.
