Tasting Notes & Reviews
Expert analysis and tasting impressions
Ah, right then, had a proper dram last night. Quite the experience. The nose... got a lovely whiff of smoke 🔥, then honey 🍯 and some vanilla. A bit of oak in there too. On the palate, first thing is that peaty, earthy note. Then comes this sweet, almost caramlised sugar thing. Quite rich. Finish is long, warming. Spicy, like black pepper. Leaves you with that classic smoky aftertaste. A real winter warmer, that one.
Oh, this one's got a lovely nose – a bit of honey, some dried fruit, and a touch of vanilla. Quite nice. 🍯 The palate is smooth, with a nice warmth. I'm getting some wood, a bit of spice, and a hint of dark chocolate. 🍫 The finish is a bit dry and earthy, with a gentle smokiness that lingers. Quite satisfying.
