Tasting Notes & Reviews

Expert analysis and tasting impressions

1#1

This whisky's got a real nice feel to it. Smells like ripe apples and a bit of vanilla, maybe some honey too. 🍯 On the taste, it’s smooth with a gentle smokiness – not overpowerin, just a warm hug. 🥃 Hints of cinnamon and caramel sneak in, makin it quite moorish. Perfect for a chilly evening, innit? 😊 A little bit of toffee finish leaves ya wantin more. Cheery!

Right, so first sip - honey and vanilla hit me straight away 🍯 Lovely warmth, not too harsh Then there's this smoky thing going on, bit of spice creeping in. Reminds me of autumn leaves burning in the garden, y'know? Nice fruity notes underneath, maybe apple or pear? The wood comes through after a bit, proper oak barrel stuff 🪵 Creamy mouthfeel, smooth as anything. Goes down a treat. Hints of butterscotch and some dried fruit - dates maybe? Little bit of clove. Quite complex realy. Long finish, that warmth stays with ye. A proper winter dram, that. Would deffo have another glass 🥃 Nose is inviting, taste delivers. Can't ask for much more than that tbh.

3#3

Yeah, this whisky's got a proper nice malty vibe, with a hint of smoke on the nose. 🍯🔥 Add a splash of water and it opens up – fruity notes like apple and pear come through. Finish is smooth with some vanilla. Really enjoy it! 😊👍 Sometimes a bit of oakiness lingers, but that's part of the charm. 🥃

4#4

Ooh, this one’s got a real oakiness to it, with hinits of smoke and a bit of fruityness. Smoother than a baby’s bottom, innit? 😋 Really warms you up on a cold night, like a hug in a glass. 🥃 Note: Some typos like "hinits" and "fruitiness" are intentional as per request.
