Justpoured a dram of this single malt and got hit by very ripe bananas and a whisper of beeswax 🍯. There’s a coastal breeze in the nose, medium bodied, with honeyed heather honey and lighter juicy sultanas dancing with vanilla. On the palate it’s pulsating – mangos, maracujas and a touch of coconut, like tropical fruits wrapped in honeycomb. Finish is cake‑y, almost 40 years of self‑restraint and elegance, excellent fresh vibe, perfect one for a Summer evening 🌴.

Just cracked open a dram and straight away I’m hit with fresh mangos, coconut and a pulsing honeyed note. There’s heather honey and whiffs of beeswax, a hint of oranges and vanilla, plus lighter juicy sultanas and honeycomb sweetness. The malt/bread feels gold and coastal, a bit oaky and gritty on the finish, yet it stays elegant and self‑restrained. Summer in a glass, almost 40% but perfectly balanced, like the perfect one I’ve been waiting for 🍀

Had a medium single malt today, really on tropical fruits and honey with whiffs of beeswax. Felt like Summer – oranges, preserved pineapples, a perfect one, cake‑y, self‑restraint and elegance, lighter juicy sultanas, tropical fruits, coastal breeze, almost 40, pulsating finish. 🌴

bloody hell, this is such a lovely summer single malt 🥃 pours a rich gold, first sniff gets that bright heather honey straight off, then whiffs of beeswax and loads of ripe bananas and preserved pineapples tinglin your nose sip is so fresh and perfectly balanced, self-restraint and elegance all the way, not too heavy at medium ABV, almost 40 right? you get vanilla, coconut, bits of orange and maracujas, even lighter juicy sultanas and a cake-y heather note that feels like a coastal summer afternoon flavours just pulsate on the tongue, all tropical fruit and honey, no weird harshness at all finish is a tad oaky and gritty but in a really nice way, honestly an excellent, nearly perfect one for a warm day 😎
