Crikey, this one's proper heavy and rich. First thing I get is this lovely caramel cream, almost like toffee but with a bit of that dark chocolate bitterness coming through after. Then it opens up into this gorgeous fruitcake soaked in kirsch vibe — you know the kind your nan makes at Christmas with all those black raisins and candied cherries in it. There's prunes and dried figs too, very Christmassy indeed. 🎄 Something old-world about it, like sniffing an antique cabinet — that furniture polish note is dead subtle but there. Whispers of old armagnac and demerara rum lurking underneath. Bit of cracked pepper on the finish, and a touch of lime zest that cuts through all that heaviness. The aftertaste lingers with this gentle bitterness, like dark chocolate left melting on your tongue. Honestly feels like Santa's own tipple after a long night delivering presents. Proper winter warmer, this. 🥃
