Just poured a dram, first whiff hits wet cement and a hint of paraffin, then sourdough and sweet beer gueuze‑style notes peek through. On the palate I get sweeter apples, a touch of white wine and a grassy aftertaste, with a medium finish that feels like fat and mineral spirit mixed with a bit of agave syrup. Reminds me of maise fields and beet earth, weirdly comforting. 🥃

Just had a sip of this whisky and it's quite the mix. 🥃 I'm getting beets and agave syrup, with a sweet beer gueuze-style vibe. It's like golden delicious apples, fat and mineral spirit with paraffin. The aftertaste has grass, similar to weissen beer. Hints of lemons and white wine, with wet cement and cider apples. There's an austerity, apple peelings, and sweeter apples, plus muscovado sugar and sweet bread. Quite the flavour journey!

First sip hits with a bit of that wet cement and earthy thing, not bad, just... interesting. Then some lovely apple peelings and lemon zest come through. A good sweet malt backbone, kinda like sweet bread or even that sweet beer style. Reminds me of golden delicious apples and cider apples, maybe a touch of those sweeter ones. There's a bit of maize and a hint of banana, and even a weird, intriguing note of raw wool. The finish is medium, leaving a gentle white wine impression. Not bad at all.

Blimey, this one's a bit of a head-scratcher at first sip. Get this weird mix of sweet beer and white wine vibes — like someone left a gueuze and a Chardonnay in the same glass overnight. There's lemons and sweeter apples knocking about, almost like crunching into a Golden Delicious or picking at apple peelings. Then it gets all earthy on you — chalk, raw wool, that wet cement smell after rain. Bit of agave syrup sweetness creeping in with some muscovado sugar, which is lovely actually. Get some beets and sweet bread too, like proper sourdough from a farmers' market. The finish lingers medium-length, leaving you with this grassiness and a touch of orange drops. A bit of paraffin and mineral spirit character that reminds me of cheap cider apples somehow 😅 Weird but not bad weird, just... intriguing weird. Would have another glass to try and figure it out honestly.
