First sip hits me with gooseberries and soft new grass, like a walk in the garden after rain. Then there’s a burst of gigantic apricot pie and ripe plums, sweet but not cloying. A hint of acacia honey and marzipan lingers, with a touch of liquorice rolls and oak in the background. Pretty perfect, medium length, leaves me smiling. 🌼

Just had a dram that reminded me of a sunny day in Chamonix, the sort of gold‑glow you see over the Alps. There's this fudgy orange sweetness, like a fresh orange scone, and a burst of greengage that makes it feel like a fruit stall in the town. It's all from single barrels, so you get a nice depth, and overall it's very good – the kind of whisky that makes you picture yourself on the ski lifts, warming up after a run 😊

嘿，今天倒了一杯，那颜色真漂亮，金闪闪的像阳光洒在湖面上。喝的时候满口都是青梅的果香，greengage 的味道一股脑儿涌上来，甜丝丝的。单一桶的层次感就是足，回味里还有点雪地的清凉，让我想起在 Chamonix 滑雪后那种舒畅。😊

A wee dram with soft smoke, orange peel and a bit of toffee. Feels warm and cosy, with some dry oak hanging about at the end 😊 Slips down quite nicely.
