Had a sip – it felt like a very pale white wine at first, then a surprising salt burst that really set the stage. The body is medium yet fat, not heavy but full, with a little clean, clear BFYB feel and a touch of toasted oak. A hint of lemon pops, then a whisper of sooty paraffin that almost makes you think of smoked salmon on a platter. The aftertaste lingers with pear juice vibes – simple, very elementary, but still very, very good. Part of the game here is the taste keeps playing a new trick for you, like apple crumble or a note of Williams pear spirit. It’s a great little whisky that makes you crack a smile and look forward to the next bottle in the series. 🍸

Really enjoyable little dram here, very true to the distillery's character. The mouthfeel is medium yet strangely fat, with a slightly dusty and sooty side coming through. It had this unexpected saltiness, kinda like smoked salmon, alongside some lemon and a hint of paraffin. The aftertaste was dirty but in a way that felt part of the game. Not the most complex, but a solid, very elementary pour. Great for a casual evening. 👍

Just had a glass tonight. First sip, there's a slightly dusty note on the nose, like old library books. Then lemon zest kicks in, really fresh and zingy. The palate is medium yet fat, with hints of Williams pear spirit and toasted oak. There's a dirty, sooty edge, but hey, that's part of the game. The saltiness came out of nowhere, kinda like smoked salmon, but it works a treat. Color's very pale white wine. Aftertaste lingers with apple crumble and a dry paraffiny side. Great little whisky from a great series. Very elementary yet very very good. Real style of the distillery, innit? 👍

颜色很淡，像杯很好的白葡萄酒。 凑近一闻，先是清新的柠檬皮，接着是煮熟的梨子香气，还有一丝石蜡和……嗯？有点像烟熏三文鱼的影子？ 的感觉挺有趣，中等酒体但又有点油脂感。 第一感觉是咸，这盐味来得有点意外，随后是明显的梨汁清甜。 烘烤橡木的底子慢慢出来，混着一点煤烟味。 收尾干净，带着点尘土气息和干燥的蜡感。 没想到后劲还挺足，嘴里留下的回味有点意思。
