Just had a sip – deep gold colour, looks inviting. Nose is dry sherry and chocolate, with roasted walnuts and a bit of mud. On the palate, total Jerezian blast! Bitter oranges, sour cherries, old balsamico, Christmas cake all dancing. There's mustard and chillies for heat, barbecued bacon – some action! 😆 Texture like rounded cake, vanilla, pecans and cashews everywhere. Finish long and salty, more sherry, manure and burnt fir wood coming through. Fantastically dry, reminds me of armagnac and very old wines. The whole thing is tangoing to perfection, even getting cigs vibes. Roasted nuts aplenty, walnutty and nutty. Yee-haa! Spectacular experience. 🥃
