Blimey, honest, this one’s almost perfect, innit? 🥃 Nosing first you get that cigarette tobacco mixed with various herbs, then that hit of overripe apples and kumquats, all swirled with gingerbread, butterscotch and salted butter toffee, even a wee touch of that fancy anti-wrinkle cream vibe that sounds mad but works so well, with more apple peelings thrown in too Sip through the middle it’s not baby's boring at all, quite the opposite, you get that blend of apple peel, hints toward roses, that scented soap little note, only tiny flaw is the middle is a tiny-wee bit thinnish, nothing major at all Finish is so pleasant, that most pleasant grassy bitterness’s just right, tiny lozenge notes, earthy kind of tea, even a hint of quinces? Lasts way longer than you’d expect, almost perfect combination, not one of the weird wacky ones at all, honestly absolute belter, leaves that warm gold vibe on the palate too

The first sip hits with a bright burst of grapefruit and kumquat, like a zesty morning pick-me-up, but then there’s this unexpected kick of cigarette tobacco and woody oak that grounds it. Gingerbread spices swirl in, warm and sweet, while hints of apple peel and overripe fruit give it a mellow, almost jammy feel. There’s a strange little thread of scented soap and cough lozenges lingering in the background – medicinal, but not unpleasant, like a spa day in the Highlands. The finish is all earthy tea and gentle herbs, with a whisper of roses and gold lingering on the tongue. Oddly wonderful, this one.

Blimey, this whisky is bloody fantastic! 🥃 First off, I get loads of gingerbread and overripe apples, it's like a right old treat. Then, there's this lovely hint of grapefruits and kumquats, gives it a nice zing. And, I reckon I detect some gentiany and liquoricy oak, quite a mature vibe. Not too shabby, if I do say so myself. It's got a wonderful, earthy kind of tea flavour, really soothing. Touches of scented soap, but in a good way, you know? Absolutely excellent, if you ask me. It's a bit of a bang! in the mouth, but in a good way, like a pleasant surprise. All in all, a top-notch dram, I'd say.

Well well well, that first sip... bang! Straight away you get overripe apples and butterscotch, then it shifts. 🍎 Almost perfect combination, but there’s this quinces and grapefruits tartness that comes in, a bit medicinal, but not in a bad way? The middle is a tiny-wee bit thinnish, I must say. But then it opens up. Gentiany and liquoricy oak, earthy kind of tea, various herbs... and suddenly it goes toward roses and touches of scented soap? Unexpectedly long finish, mind you. 🌹 There’s kumquats and more apple peelings coming back. Most pleasant grassy bitterness, and right at the end, a wave of salted butter toffee. Absolutely excellent, it’s a fact. (Almost feels like using some high-quality anti-wrinkle cream for your palate. Rich.)

First off, it's not one of the whacky ones at all – quite the opposite, actually. On the nose, you get these little touches of scented soap, then some overripe apples and a surprising, earthy kind of tea. There's a hint of kumquats and maybe toward roses a bit? It's wonderful, really. The taste... you know, the middle is a tiny-wee bit thinnish, which could be its only and very minor flaw. But then it's all butterscotch and salted butter toffee, which is absolutely excellent. I swear I get a bit of high-quality anti-wrinkle cream in there too – weird, right? 🤔 A little medicinal, with tiny notes of cough lozenges and some gentiany and liquoricy oak. The finish is unexpectedly long, with cigarette tobacco and various herbs hanging around. It’s certainly not baby's boring. As for the overall balance... well, I've got no opinion yet, I'd need another glass to decide. 🥃
