Had a quick dram and the nose was lovely – proper flowery with a hint of orange marmalade and a bit of herbal‑tea vibe. On the palate it opened up with loads of nectar, vanilla and orange, then dove into plum cake, hot cake‑like sweetness and a big fudge‑praline note, almost like a spoonful of cocoa powder mixed with white chocolate. There’s a sort of bourbon‑y warmth and a touch of cinnamon, but it mellows fast, turning a nice golden, slightly chalky finish that’s a bit short and weak. A splash of apple‑juice fruit jam vibes and a faint honey edge, but nothing too complex – just extremely fruity, very enjoyable and surprisingly spirity. 😊

Oof, first sip hits like a warm apple juice hug with a kick—plum cake vibes right off the bat, juicy and sweet. Then that vanilla creaminess wraps around, almost like a hot cake fresh from the oven 🍰 But oh, it’s got some bite too—drying tannins grab your tongue like chalky dust, and a faint cardboard whisper lingers. The oak’s there but not overpowering, more like a whisper of bourbon spice with cinnamon dancing in the background. Finish? Short and sharp, like it ran out of steam too soon. Still, the spirit’s bold—almost too spirity for its own good. Not complex, but fun while it lasts.

First whiff's got loads of vanilla and that sort of bourbonny sweetness, like white chocolate melting. Then come the plums and orange marmalade – really fruity jam notes. But underneath, there's this surprising spirity hit at first, almost like it went over the hill a bit too quickly. On the palate, it's honey and big fudge notes, almost like a warm hot cake. Gets much mellower fast, though. A bit of herbal tea and flowery hints come through, which is nice. Doesn't feel overly oaky, just a gentle oakiness. Not too complex, honestly. The finish is where it gets a bit tricky. There's a very drying, tannic attack, almost like cardboard mixed with cocoa powder, and the dryness doesn't linger long. It's a bit short and weak at the end, which is a shame because the nose was great and it's extremely enjoyable to sip. The nectar and praline notes in the middle are lovely, but that finish... it just doesn't quite hold up. 🥃

Nose was great - lots of vanilla, plums and that Big notes of fudge, sort of ‘chalky’ and oaky. Really got the apple juice and plum cake vibe, very flowery with hints of orange marmalade. On the palate it’s extremely fruity, lots of nectar and honey. Sort of bourbonny with lots of cinnamon and white chocolate, no excessive oak. But then… the attack is very drying and tannic, surprisingly spirity. A bit of cardboard and herbal tea came through. Quick to get much mellower with cocoa powder and praline. Not too complex though. The finish is rather short and weak, short of dryness. 😅 Went over the hill fast, left me with a gold hue in the glass. Extremely enjoyable, despite that quick fade. ✨

This one’s honestly a cracker 👏 First off the colour’s lovely deep gold in the glass. The nose is great - loads of vanilla and honey jumping out, with some flowery hints and a bit of cocoa powder. Took a sip and it hit me with a very drying, tannic attack at first, almost surprisingly spirity! But it opened up quick to get much mellower, which was nice. Got lots of cinnamon and praline notes coming through then, mixed with white chocolate and a touch of orange. Had this lovely hot cake and fruit jam quality in the middle, almost like a big piece of fudge. There was a bit of herbal tea in there too, and maybe just a touch of cardboard? Finished quite short of dryness though, with lots of nectar and an oaky linger. Overall extremely enjoyable - went over the hill just a tad for my taste but still brilliant 🥃
