刚倒了一小杯抿，真的绝😌 creamy的质地裹着vanilla和coconut的甜 整体just oakier一点但不齁 橡木调还是现在超流行的款，不会太冲 接着plums、mirabelles、apricots还有小浆果、热带水果的香炸开 带点tartness酸得超平衡 尾韵long finish超持久 余味里有muscat的甜 还有一丢丢earl grey的茶香 像喝过Parkerised葡萄酒的那种feel aftertaste里还有vanilla cake和butter的香味 还有点straw的干草感 太适合周五晚上瘫沙发看剧喝了🥃

刚开的一瓶 malt whisky 真的超 lovely 啊 😂 完樶不是那种 heavy oaky 的款！头一口先是 coconut 和 vanilla 的 creamy 甜，像咬了口刚出炉的 vanilla cake，带点 tartness 刚好解腻 晃了晃杯还有 zesty 的 earl grey 香，还有 tropical fruits 和 mirabelles 的清酸，混着 muscat 的甜，还有层淡 wood 的木质调，闻着还有点 straw 的干草香 之前喝过 2000 年份的 Meursaults，这个的 oak 感比那个还淡点，完全 not oaky at all 啊， oak was still fashionable 那会的桶都没浸这么重，反而更 subtle， very fine 真的很 尾韵真的超 long finish！到最后还有点 plums 和 apricots 的甜， absolutely excellent，喝完整个人暖乎乎的，配块司康简直 perfect 🍪

Just had a dram that’s proper lush – the first sniff hits you with this zesty kick, like tropical fruits mixed with ripe apricots and plums, maybe even a hint of mirabelles? On the tongue, it’s creamy but with a layer of wood that’s not overpowering, more like a whisper of oak. Got some muscat sweetness too, vanilla cake vibes, and a touch of coconut. Funny thing is, it’s not oaky whisky at all, just oakier than I expected, very fine actually. The finish is long, with small berries and this almost straw-like dryness. Bloody lovely, reminds me of those Parkerised wines but in spirit form. 🥃

Took a sip and immediately got this coconut vibe, like a splash of tropical sunshine, followed by ripe apples and plums dancing about. There's a nice layer of wood from the cask aging, not too overpowering, just enough to give it that proper depth. A touch of earl grey tea in there too, subtle but there, mixing with some creamy vanilla cake sweetness. The tartness from the fruit keeps it lively, and that long finish? Proper smooth, lingers like a good chat over a fireside dram. Reminds me of those rich Meursault whites or a buttery 2000s vintage – solid stuff, that.

Took a wee sip and it's absolutely excellent 🥃 The first thing that hits me is this creamy, buttery texture, like a vanilla cake soaked in custard. There's a touch of earl grey tea floating in there, subtle but present, and the tropical fruits come through – think coconut and mango, maybe a hint of mirabelles. It’s not oaky whisky at all, which is a relief, but there's definitely a layer of wood underneath, like someone left a plank of oak in the mash tun. The apples and apricots are zesty, not too tart, and the finish is long – you get a lingering malt whisky warmth with small berries and a sort of tartness that reminds me of those Parkerised wines. It’s very fine, smooth. Oh, and the aftertaste? Like biting into a ripe plum while standing in a straw field. Blimey, oak was still fashionable back then, wasn’t it? 😄
