McCarthy's 6 Years Single Malt Whisky

McCarthy's is an acclaimed American single malt whiskey brand created by Stephen McCarthy, founder of Clear Creek Distillery in Portland, Oregon. Established in 1985, this pioneering craft distillery produces a unique peated whiskey using Scottish barley malted over peat fires and aged in Oregon oak barrels. Often compared to Islay Scotch for its smoky character, McCarthy's represents one of America's first serious attempts at single malt whiskey production and has become a cornerstone of the craft distilling movement.
