Nice zing, enjoy even more. Juicy guava juice with zesty fruits, touches of salt, oh lovely! Crisper than the 1992, zestier. Earthiness lingers, medium length. No white zin though, but the saltiness and that great zesty Littlemill are good. Dark straw, earthiness aftertaste.

Nice dram this one – pale gold in the glass, real zesty tropical fruits extravaganza upfront. There’s this citrusy punch that’s proper refreshing, then it gets even fruitier with hints of banana-flavoured jellybeans and fresh fruits. The vanilla fudge comes through lovely and creamy, almost like marshmallows melting on the tongue. Got a tad grassier edge to it, some whiffs of eucalyptus tea, and a sharp bite that makes you sit up straight. Long finish, chiselled and clean – reminds me of those unbeatable in its category malts from the 80s, but notch bigger and bolder. Think it’s got years like 1966 Bowmore and 1981 Lochside written all over it, though without the hefty price tag. Proper mossy depth too, very satisfying.

Began with a lovely pale gold hue. The nose had these whiffs of eucalyptus tea and vanilla fudge, alongside fresh fruits – really citrusy. Tasting it, pink grapefruits jumped out, part of a zesty tropical fruits extravaganza. Found it a tad grassier than usual, with notes of broken branches and marshmallows. The finish was sharp, and it felt notch bigger overall. Sweet reminders of banana-flavoured jellybeans and other sweets lingered. 😊
