Just poured a dram from a sherry‑treated hogshead, deep amber glow. First sniff brings liquorice and gang, a hint of moss and sweet wine. On the palate, oranges from a bag of oranges mix with raisins and a touch of mint, earthy roots and humus underneath. Lovely dimension, classic rich sherriness, finishing with a sweet finish that lingers. 😊

This one's a proper treat – hits you with this deep amber glow first, like looking into a well-stocked sweet shop. The sherry-treated hogshead definitely shows through, all that classic rich sherriness blended with sweet wine notes. I get lovely hints of raisins and liquorice dancing around, with a bag of oranges and wonderful fresh oranges bursting through. There's something earthy too, like moss and roots underneath, gives it real depth. The Ex-peater influence is smooth but present, and it tails off with this long, spicy finish that just keeps on giving. Proper quality PX in there as well, makes everything taste fruitier and more rounded. Lovely balance, nothing too loud, just a proper satisfying dram 🥃✨

第一口就跟嚼了一袋新鲜橙子似的，甜得发亮，还带点结晶糖的脆爽劲儿🍊 接着那股经典的雪莉桶浓郁扑面而来，像刚从Rivesaltes酒窖里拎出来的PX，葡萄干和李子干在舌尖上跳舞 中间夹杂着泥土、苔藓和树根的气息，让人想到阴凉的老森林地面 最后那股甘草和薄荷的辛辣余韵久久不散，像是喝了杯加了精油的雪莉酒 整体层次感拉满，橙子从鲜到干，从果肉到果皮，一层一层地绽开 最后那点余温里，还藏着一抹质感PX的余韵，真他妈过瘾

On the palate there’s that classic rich sherriness you’d expect from a sherry‑treated hogshead, mingling with soft raisins and a whisper of honey‑ed liquorice. A touch of earth and humus comes through, like walking through mossy ground after a rain, then a subtle minty edge. The finish is long, spicy and a little fruity‑er than I’d thought, with a lovely, lingering sweet finish that makes you picture a sunny Mediterranean terrace in Rivesaltes. Absolutely perfect for a quiet evening. 😊
