Poured myself a dram – it's that lovely gold colour. 😊 Nose gives off vanilla and Seville oranges, very inviting. First sip, there's a cracked pepper note, medium body with a plasticine-y, naturally rubbery feel. Tastes of orange marmalade, like green tea blended with smoked tea, with a little coffee and linseed oil. The smoky aftertaste is great, hints of liquorice wood, tarry sand, and gunpowder tea. A clear asset to any collection, really very good!

Right, here goes… just poured a dram and having a quiet moment with it. Nose is immediately cracked pepper and this lovely characterful dram, sort of tarry sand and broken branches after a storm. Tiny whiff of linseed oil, and something oddly plasticine-y from childhood, but it works. A little coffee bean peeking through, then orange-y notes like Seville oranges muddled with a splash of orange liqueur. On the sip, it’s medium weight, vanilla and green tea blended with smoked tea – almost gunpowder tea smokiness. That liquorice wood backbone is a clear asset, dry and gently spicy. Finish clings with a smoky aftertaste, earthy, like cold campfire embers and a faint zest of those oranges again. Very good indeed. 👌🥃🍊

Quite cosy on the nose — a bit of honey, oak, and dried fruit. Tastes warm and slightly spicy, with a soft sweet edge 🥃 Finish is mellow, little bit woody, quite nice for a slow evening.

Warm and cosy straight away 🥃 Bit of honey, oak and gentle spice, with a soft smoky edge. Feels rich but not too heavy — the finish hangs about nicely. Quite comforting, really.

Wow, this one's a real charmer! 👀 Nose's all soft apples 🍎 and a wee bit o' nutmeg. Takes me back to gran's kitchen, honestly. On the tongue? Ooh, it's proper warming! 🔥 Got that malty sweetness, then a flash of ginger. Quite the dance, innit? Finish lingers like a good story... a bit of dark chocolate 🍫 and, strangely, a hint of pencil shavings? Wierd but lovely. Cracking stuff for a chilly evening. Might be my new go-to! 🥃 Cheers!
