Strathisla Rare Auld 1967 40 Years Single Malt Whisky

Right, poured myself a bit of this tonight. 🥃 Lovely amber colour. Nose is warm, like dried fruit and vanilla 🍦. First sip... smooth yeah. Bit of honey 🍯. Gets spicy down the throat though. Finish is long, makes you wanna sit by the fire. 🔥 Proper comforting stuff. Might havve had too much already oops 😅

Reet, this dram's givin me heather honey an' a bonfire wiff straight off 🍯🔥 On the palate it's dead lush—toffee'd apples, marmalade, an' a bit a dark choccie creepin in 🍫🍊 Finish? Not too long, just a wee smack o' sea salt an' white pepper. Canny drop, like. 🥃

Oh, this one's got a real smoky vibe, like a proper campfire. 🔥 A bit of sweet fruit in there too, maybe apple or pear. 🍎 Smooth goin' down, leaves a warm feelin'. 😊 Sort of caramel notes poppin' up later. 🍬 Reckon it's a good sip for chilly nights.
