Blimey, had a proper nice golden dram the other evening 🤌 First you get that proper lovely old Carsebridge-style warm herbal tea vibe, almost like a cuppa of cold hawthorn tea on a sunny day, plus bright tangerine zing right off the bat. Then all the tropical sweetness kicks inn – ripe mangos, creamy coconuts, soft papaya, that jammy persimmon note, plus little pops of macadamia nut crunch and sweet marzipan, with a hint of tangy tamarind and fresh sugarcane juice cutting through. The finish? Surprisingly long, even a tinny whiff of teak oil from the cask lingering right at the end. Proper lovely stuff.

Just poured myself a dram – this one's a lovely gold colour, and the smell is all citrus, like tangerines and papayas with a hint of mangos. 🌴 Tastes sweet, almost like sugarcane juice, balanced with herbal teas and a bit of tamarind. There's a nutty side too, think macadamia nuts or marzipan. Finish is surprisingly long, with coconuts and persimmon fading into cold hawthorn tea. A subtle teak oil note adds a nice edge. Proper enjoyable whisky, this – cheers! 😊

刚开始闻着有股烤夏威夷果的香气，混着点新鲜甘蔗汁的甜味 🥄 喝下去意外地顺滑，回味却出乎意料地持久 后面慢慢泛出草药茶和柿子的清甜 像小时候吃的杏仁膏化在嘴里的感觉 尾段突然有点冷山楂茶的酸香，还有几瓣 tangerines 的微苦 🍊 整体很适合秋天晚上慢慢啜一口…

真的，这杯让我想起在酒展上碰到的一桶很老的雪莉桶酒——深度有点接近那些40年老雪莉桶的韵味，但完全是另一番天地。🪵 闻起来是成熟的番木瓜和芒果，好像还有点自然椰子和金橘的香气。慢慢晃杯，竟出现了淡淡的罗望子酸甜，有点像凉掉的山楂茶，又带点糖水甘蔗的清甜感。🧃 入口很圆润，没有普通谷物威士忌那种毛躁感，反而像在嚼裹了杏仁糖霜的夏威夷果。尾韵突然转到柚子皮和草本茶的微苦，但最后留在嘴里的是柚木油那种温润的木质香，和一点点金银花凉茶的味道。🌳 说实话这酒有种魔力，明明喝起来很优雅，香气却像打开了热带果园的魔盒——柑橘、核果、草本层层叠叠，喝到最后甚至让我想起雨林里湿润的木头和野花香。✨ 就像在喝液态的黄金，复杂又不刻意。

Lovely warm nose — vanilla, a bit of honey, soft oak and gentle spice. On the sip it feels creamy, slightly fruity, with a wee smoky tingle at the end 🥃 Easy-going, cosy, and nicely warming.
