Poured a dram that looked quite golden in the glass. First smell was a lot of vanilla and some fresh sawdust, like walking into a carpenter's workshop. On the palate it's really light and easy. Quite a bit of that sweet bubblegum and strawberry chewiness, mixed with some coconut and pear drop sweets. Feels a bit like a fruitier, virgin bourbon, if that makes sense. There's a decent body to it despite feeling quite mild. The finish has a little touch of something sour, maybe a hint of that liquorice wood note, and lingers with some coffee grounds. It's becoming very simple towards the end, but there's nothing wrong with it at all. 😊
